The Community Health Nurses of Canada is a not-for-profit corporation, registered with Industry Canada. New federal legislative requirements under the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act (S.C. 2009, c. 23) required that the bylaws of CHNC be revised to ensure compliance with the Act.  These revised bylaws were initially endorsed by the CHNC membership in 2014.
